Manual Therapy

Hands-on treatment including various soft tissue and joint mobilization and manipulation techniques can be used to reduce pain and improve mobility to help get you moving better!

Dry Needling

Dry needling can be a very effective adjunctive treatment to help reduce pain and muscle tension and improve range of motion, assisting you in your recovery.  We offer both acupuncture and Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation).  

Therapeutic Exercise

Exercise is the most well supported Physiotherapy intervention available!  We will guide you through therapeutic exercises that are right for YOU – with the appropriate load, technique, dosage and progression.  Whether you are recovering from an injury, tendinopathy, joint replacement, arthritis or another chronic condition,  your program will be tailored to you and your goals!

Running Analysis

Our physiotherapist has been conducting running analysis and treating injured runners for several years.  She has completed advanced training in this area which she continues to update.  She runs herself and is passionate about educating runners. 

Running analysis involves running gait video analysis with slow-motion playback and a biomechanical screening exam, individualized education and advice on running technique and training programs, and accessory strengthening and mobility work for runners. 

Personal Training

Small group or individual personal training is available on a limited basis.  This can be a great option if you are transitioning back into fitness or getting fit for the first time after an injury, childbirth, joint replacement or have issues such as arthritis or osteoporosis and you want to do so under the supervision of a Physiotherapist. 

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

We also offer assessment and treatment for pelvic health dysfunction such as incontinence (leaking), pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain.  Whether you are a new mom noticing issues after childbirth, a CrossFitter  leaking with skipping, a powerlifter experiencing pelvic organ prolapse, someone who has had issues for years and thought it was normal (it’s not), or anything in between – we’re here for you.
