Here are some of our most frequently asked questions. If you don’t see your question listed, don’t worry; simply call or email us your questions.

  1. Where is RX Physiotherapy located?
  2. We are located inside of CrossFit Leduc at 4704 53rd Avenue, Leduc.
  3. When you first arrive, come in through the main entrance of CrossFit Leduc and have a seat on the black couches on your left.  Please wait there.  Your physiotherapist will come and get you and walk you through the gym to the clinic area which is located in the back of the building.  
  4. What should I bring on my first visit?
  5. Bring comfortable attire that will allow the physiotherapist to examine the area of concern and assess your movement.  An example would be wearing shorts for a knee assessment.  We do have patient gowns and shorts in case you forget but most people are more comfortable in their own!
  6. Also bring the shoes that you normally run or exercise in, if that is applicable.
  7. What are the fees?
  8. When you book with RX, you can be confident that you are getting high value for your money.  Our pricing is competitive.  Additionally, our assessment and treatment durations are not only significantly longer than most other clinics, but that time is also 1 on 1 with the physiotherapist.  Because of this, we typically accomplish much more per session and require less frequent treatments  than what is typically seen at more traditional physiotherapy clinics.  And because we love our seniors so much, we offer a discounted rate for those over 65.

  16. What funding is available for Physiotherapy?
  17. You may have funding for physiotherapy available through your extended health benefits.
  18. Other funding options may also be available in certain cases.  We do not offer funding through WCB or CRP at this time.
  19. Do you offer direct billing?
  20. Yes!  We offer direct billing for most benefits plans, including Blue Cross, ASEBP, Medavie Blue Cross, Great West Life, Sun Life, and many more.  Want to know if we can direct bill your benefits provider?  Call or email us and we can let you know.
  21. Do you offer small group classes?
  22. Yes! Small group training classes are offered based on demand and gym space availability.  These are a great option for those looking for more guidance and instruction but at a lower cost than 1 on 1 training.
  23. Do you offer personal training services?
  24. Yes, subject to availability.  If you are interested in personal training, send us an email and we will let you know if we currently have space.   
  25. What if I need to cancel my appointment?
  26. We understand that things come up and sometimes appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled.  However, we also ask that you give us as much notice as possible, at least 24-48hr.  This allows us time to fill the spot with someone on the waitlist.  You can reschedule or cancel your appointment online up to 24hr before your appointment.   After that, please call us to cancel at 780-996-4768.  Cancellations with less than 24hr notice are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
  27. Does RX Physiotherapy sell retail products?
  28. We sell a limited amount of products that have been deemed to be of sufficient quality and value for our clients.  We have foam rollers, spiky balls, Sheperd’s hooks, kinesiology tape, TENS and e-muscle stim machines, mini bands, Theraband, items specific to pelvic health physiotherapy, and more available – either in stock or upon request.
